Our family, our wine

The sun behind Mzevino

Good grapes, patient care, and wine worth sharing.

Our family’s winemaking story began around 2015, when Daviti Katchkatchashvili started building a small winery around something he cared deeply about: good grapes, careful work, and wine worth sharing.

The grapes come from vineyards near the village of Nukriani. After harvest, they come to our home winery, where Daviti looks after the wine through the changing seasons. His approach draws on Georgian winemaking traditions, with patient attention to how each wine develops.

That tradition lives alongside clean, carefully maintained stainless steel tanks. For us, care means both respecting the wine’s natural character and paying close attention to the place where it is made.

Our name comes from the warm, golden color of Rkatsiteli. In Georgian, mze means sun. Mzevino carries that image with it: a little brightness from our vineyards, brought to the table.

Whether a bottle is opened among friends or given with a personal message, we hope it becomes part of a moment worth remembering.
